Will the dog next door disturb the rabbit?

I'm thinking about getting a rabbit for my birthday - if i did the rabbit would be in an outdoor hutch, sheltered from the elements, protected from predators, well ventilated and with a large run, the only problem is, is that there's a young dog next door the can bark for quite long periods of time at night ( not every night but some nights) will this disturb the rabbit, scare it or prevent it from sleeping? will i still be able to get a rabbit?
