Am i on to something or is this just teen angst?

so lately i have been reading the works of reausseau (or however you spell it) and it really made me think alot. It seems like school is basicaly a factory that turms creative free spirited children into zombie like adults whose only purpose is to be another worker in the community. i mean really right now my life is basically controlled by bells telling me where to go and when to go. Life just kind of blends together in a huge blur of meaningless schoolwork. i dont want to be just another person who works tell hes seventy then retires and only gets to enjoy like 5 years of his life. is this corperate machine stuff a good idea or is this just teen angst?
