Should i have kissed her?

ok so i took a girl to prom that i was getting to know for about a month and were not dating but kinda have a thing... anyway we had a really good night and held hands out to the car and i walked her to her doorstep. so anyway we got to her doorstep we talked a little and she got like halfway in her door, but then she got back out and we hugged and then she looked up at me for like a brief period and i really wasnt expecting it and i think she wanted me to kiss her. so anyway i froze and was kicking myself afterwards but i played it off and pretended like nothing weird happened and wished her goodnight. so anyway my question is did i ruin things with her and does it sound like she wanted me to kiss her?
