How will rated battlegrounds work in WoW Cataclysm? (10 points best Answer)?

I'm curious as to how it will work also, and second your opinion regarding the alliance. I happen to play on one of the worst servers of one of the worst battlegroups for alliance. I'm even looking into a server switch, because I've grown so frustrated, but if the rated battlegrounds will even things out, then I'm all for it and may hold off on that decision. Regarding you thoughts on individual achievements, I think you need to be careful there. As you pointed out, battlegrounds is about team work and filling roles, and different cles are suited to different roles. As a mage, I'm not likely going to be the flag carrier, for example. I would find it very disturbing if things are based on individual achievements within something that is designed to be a group effort. So, I realize this is not really an answer to your question, but I just figured I'd share my thoughts. :)
