Help me get over this?

recently my bf and me broke up..he proceded to date a nother girl..who i believed to be a rebound girl. as far as i know hes ended things with her now....and stuff like that. he apparantly has been asking my friend about me....and stuff like that..im still really heartbroken about it but im trying to have the self esteem to realize hes just an ***. in a way i want him back tho, or to try to come to me. my friend and i went out for drinks the other night, she told me he was sleeping with someone else (wether its true or not i dont know cuz hes been telling her stuff to make me jealous knowing were friendss). i ****** up and sent him an email telling him much i still loved him. is there any way i can get him to crawl back now? ive had zero contact for quite awhile ago...do i just wait it out>??? he sent me a VERY angry message back..was she a rebound chick ? i think she musta been...
