My boyfriend broke up with me and now he wants me back. Should I be back with him?

We were together for 20 months n just broke up. We never had ual but had . He always let me pick the places when we went out and asked for my opinions when he bought stuff. We were in long distance (5 hrs driving). He came visit me twice a month n he wanted me to go see him once a month. If I can't go without a reason, he'd be mad. He just broke up with me, but he regretted n called my parents to apologize. We still talk now. He told me that he cared of my parents b/c he knew he can't compete with them when it comes to me. The only way to get me is to please them. I think he's strategic. I told him I don't have confidence on the relationship. So lately, he called me more often to say nice things to me. For me, it's not gonna to work b/c he does it on purpose. He even said once I have ual with him, that means i trust him n that way he trusts me more. I feel like I don't know him b/c I dont' know when he does something to me on purpose. What'd i do?
